just curious - you shoot 4k and export at 4k but why don't you edit on a 4k timeline?

i thought instagram and tiktok only uploads in 1080p. so if we upload 4k it will compress into 1080. will the quality look better or worse when uploading 4k than just uploading 1080p?

Hi Philip, my YouTube channel just started and I’m struggling to make reals and shorts while filming regular YouTube videos. It’s exhausting thinking of remaking a recipe just because I have 1 device and I want to have the horizontal videos same way I want to have the vertical videos too. 😢😢.
