ok, so just in case u dont get it.This song is talking bout the animatronics being forced to do these things, they really are like it says, "poor little souls" . if any of you know the song "its been so long" about the mother who lost her child and turned into marionette. marionette is known as the "mother figure" . she is actually golden freddy's mother. So in the song "its been so long" it is talking about how the child ran off and met these other kids. which than, the purple guy killed them all and stuffed them in bodies of chica, foxy, freddy, bonnie, and of course, the mothers child.Golden freddy. so this song is talking about how the kids have lost all control of their body and they r being forced to do these things they do not want to intentionally do.So the "poor little souls" really in fact are poor little souls, and do not mean to cause harm.Also in the lyrics it says, "were forced to be still and play the same song we have known since that day, AN IMPOSTER TOOK OUR LIFE AWAY now were left here to decay"
also, it states that they have lost all control, and it happened in 1987, if you wrap all of this around your head, it makes total sense.

I just got back watching five nights at Freddy’s movie and it was a phenomenal movie and this song was played in the end credits I’m glad they used this music because it’s perfect for the end credits song and that song was uplifting as hell
