You guys are lucky. It's a rare thing to have a father/son team who genuinely are friends and can make one another laugh.

I bought a long range Model Y and now it's cheaper then when I bought it. I think that's great since it will allow more people to buy one. I just don't understand the babies that get upset by the price fluctuations. Cars are one of the worst investments you can make to begin with so why would you ever expect them to do anything but lose value over time?

I can not believe I spend a hour of my time every week watching your show. But I do and thoroughly enjoy every minute. Thank for the interesting content.

Steering wheel or yoke aside, it's the missing stalk for indicator that's the biggest issue in MS and MX. Hope they will use stalks in CT!

I rented a Model 3 from Hertz last week in Tampa, great car and great experience. I brought along my Hansshow tesla ring to use instead of the Hertz keycard, worked great. I was the only person renting a Tesla though during pickup and dropoff, I think people are still skiddish to give Tesla's a try. The general public has a long way to go to get educated about EVs.

I drive with FSD Beta in Ohio. I have multiple interventions within a couple miles of home every time I drive. I'm firmly in the "doubt" column on if this thing can ever be a robotaxi.

I have been using Beta FSD for about 18 months now in Northern Utah and while I think Robi taxi will happen, I don't think it is a year off. 3-4 maybe. Until it can maneuver around potholes and junk in the road and sense rain and snow on the ground, I can't see it driverless.

I’m about 1 million in line for CT. Hopefully they can work the kinks out by then 😂

About the "freshness", Porche has kept similar lines throughout the years, and nobody is complaining.

I used to work for thrifty rent a car and the longest we would keep a car was about 6 to 7 month's or 50K Miles before it was sold..

I feel like it's a mistake to assume that regulators just need a car to be safer than a human driver. The car will be held up to a MUCH higher standard than humans because A) the liability for accidents could fall on the regulators, B) the press around accidents would be hysterical, C) A good human driver can drive for months or even years without making a significant mistake, and that's what FSD's reputation will be competing against.

I think the concept of the cyber truck is a lot cooler than the latest pictures

it's impossible to mistake Tesla's insistence that the driver always maintains control of their vehicles. I'm speaking from 125, 000 miles driving a Model 3 and a Model S both equipped with full self-driving. It's annoying to end up in auto-pilot jail, but that's what happens consistently. The company errs on the side of caution as well they should.

Excellent show ! FYI, Tempe, AZ is pronounced with a long “e” at the end; should sound like “Tempee”. 👍👍

Hi guys. 😊 Love the show. 🙌🏾
Once again, I find myself laughing out loud at your graphics interactions. 17 minutes in when people are blowing their stack over their perceived shortcomings of the Tesla model 3, and then they are probably all driving Teslas right now . 😂😂👍🏾

I recently rented a ModelY from Hertz at the San Jose Airport and it had an issue with the HVAC causing on heat when driving in the morning.
I returned the car to the airport to exchange it for another Model Y which was fine.
I told them that the lot attendants need to be trained on how to use service mode so that they can see what’s going on or if there’s any issues with the vehicle.

I normally agree with you on things like the taxes on EV’s. However the price of fuel has taxes and road maintenance fees. Electricity does not include road maintenance . So a charge of $130 reflects the loss road maintenance fees. When EV’s fly you will have a valid complaint.

FSD will take over because of insurance rates, not ethics. As soon as an autonomous driver is statistically safer than a human driver you'll start to see the cost of insuring each diverge: autonomous insurance will get cheaper as the risk pool gets bigger and the autopilot improves, manual operation insurance will get more and more expensive and the risk pool will shrink.

When the cost of paying for manual operation insurance exceeds the cost of purchasing and insuring an autopilot they will become ubiquitous because most people won't be able to afford insurance.

I don't think Farley was trying to be pithy in his comment about a vehicle refresh. He genuinely believes you need to do a superficial body refresh every few years to keep the idea in the mind of the consumer that your product remains current. Is he right? No...as the example of laptops and cell phones seems to demonstrate. But I do think that this is what Farley genuinely believes.
