When you talk about the mechanically self leveling bucket, on a backhoe there is usually a lever to hit that returns to dig. Lays the bucket flat to the ground. That was what we called it on construction work. Ellis

Hank, I did that conversion on my Boomer 50 3 months after I got it. Makes a world of difference on just about everything that I hang on the 3 point. The only thing it every comes off for is using a post hole digger. It does make it a little more difficult to hook up the top link, I have to reach in through the side window to extend or retract it as necessary.

Pretty sure one washer goes on top by the banjo bolt head and you’re supposed to move the other under the hose fitting. Those are crush washers.

Hey Hank! I just did a video on this not too long ago. I love having this on my tractor. Great video pal!

You are correct about the thread sealant.
You only need sealant for NPT pipe threads.
Never for banjo fittings.

Thanks for the video Hank. I also have the same brand Hydraulic top link from the same company. Been a great one. Mine is Cat 1 of course for my T474. Take care.

Hank nice job! I love my hydraulic top link I have the same one. It is very nice when you’re using a box blade and want to drop a little dirt or take a little. Tractor looks like it’s doing a nice job for you, but I would have to do something with that back up alarm lol. Keep those videos rolling.

Same place I got mine. Mine took longer coming all the way from Holland to center US.

Just a suggestion , don't get rid of your old top link, you might need it in an emergency situation. As in hydraulic failure.

As far as pulling dirt or whatever from top of pile so you can scoop it up better, there is another YouTuber that does that all the time. Got to check out his videos, , “Outdoors with the Morgan’s”..🤞. Good video as usual. Take care guys..

Please ignore me if I missed it in the video but you have a copper washer either side of the female side of the banjo fitting 👍🏻

Get you a bolt on cutting edge for your bucket Hank. Should be good content. A lot of these tractors have flimsy buckets.

I believe that you should have used Teflon thread sealant on the quick connector NPT threads. I recommend Teflon sealant not tape. If you use Teflon tape be sure to not get the tape below the threads as it can contaminate the hydraulic system. Also you know to be sure to wrap in the correct direction clockwise viewed from end of fitting or tape will be useless.

An airforce guy, talking to tractor people, using starboard referring to which side of the tractor ... I'm setting here imagining a navy guy in a catamaran telling his audience to run their right pontoon in the furrow of the previous lap around the lake ...

When I got mine a couple of years ago it actually came from HOLLAND!

Hank, he should've just got the dirt from the dirt road...that way he gets better value for his taxes

Some friendly unsolicited advice that was given to me. We have eleven tractors with one that size. Consider a tooth-bar, use a box scraper no less than 2000 pounds then find a spot of land not in use and practice.
