Easy strut removal for pinch-type spindles

removing the front strut from the spindle in a e92 bmw m3 using a spreader tool.

I bought a kit like this and hope it works. I’m unfortunately in the rust belt and on my awd e91 the strut is also siezed like yours but so is the bolt that tightens it

Easier is to flip and tighten the bolt and shove a putty knife in the pinch gap.
