Mentioning about the möntrö; countries warships who doesn't have a shore on the black sea cant stay in black sea more than 21 day and only 30k ton weight max at same time. and total warships of diffrent countries 45k max ton. that way Turkey doesnt have to intervine for conflicts in black sea. You would think the industry would cut and slice the ragged strait into a smooth, wide deep channel to allow easy flow of shipping in both directions as quickly as possible.
Both edges of the town would have some land lost, but the wealth it would generate more than offsets the costs of buying up the land edges and removing them for a fast canal.
