Ferrari Purosangue DRIVEN: Worth £400k? | Top Gear

So then, the Purosangue. In literal terms 'pureblood'. There's a V12 up front and all-wheel drive, but more importantly, four doors and four seats. Controversial. There's also a hatch and a decent enough boot, Ferrari even has plans for ski and bike carriers – carbon fibre and fabulously expensive, obviously – and the sense that if practicality had been skinned down to the bare essentials in favour of Ferrari-ness, you'd be looking at it.

The 6.5-litre V12 produces 715bhp, enough to launch the Purosangue from 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds. Sprightly... But how does it fare on Italy's snow covered mountain roads? Top Gear Magazine's Associate Editor, Tom Ford, finds out.

What do you think, is it worth the price tag?

I thought they were going to use the 3.9 litre V8. The fact that they jammed the V12 in there is just classic Ferrari. Fantastic.

Saturday evening 9pm watching this brilliant review! Who is this guy and why is he not a presenter on the show. Straight forward no nonsense report. This is the type of presenter Top Gear needs to bring back the car lovers to the Tv show! 🎉

Gtc4lusso owner here, I see peoples not seeing really weak parts in car, just Google PTU FERRARI, this is 4RM front gearbox which will get broked after 10-20k miles, and it costs 30k$, so funny because ferrari using this since 2011 and didn't even fixed weak parts. So this is just beautiful design with very big problems in future, I can not recommend to use this daily drive or do drift.

THIS makes me so happy. I worked on the project as a vehicle dev. engineer (oh, the endless nights testing this thing!) and grew up in THESE exact mountains. Seeing the shots of a car that I spent time on, and in my beloved mountains around Madonna di Campiglio... I'm just so happy. What a great accomplishment this car is. in every single way.

Really enjoyed this guy’s review. Naturalistic on camera, honest, not trying to be too funny… Good stuff

The writing on the script is exquisite. It answers all the right questions. Well done.

This is probably the best YouTube video Top Gear has ever uploaded. Great review

I actually really like how the Purosangue looks. It just looks more elegant and less fussy than the Urus.

Watching this at a Bus Stop waiting for a bus after doing a 12 hour work shift wishing I could afford to buy and run a Car!!! 😔😞😭

Actually way cooler and nicer and faster than I thought it’d be… I like it all except for the interior panels/tools as you stated - like what if it broke and wouldn’t come up you just have no air control lol!?
Really weird looking but it grew on my throughout the video - if it had different wheels it’d be better. And that soundddd 🤤

Beautiful car and concept indeed.
I hope the build quality and the serviceability overall has improved as well.

Regarding the "no sat nav" situation, I agree with Ferrari on that one: nothing they come out with will ever be as good as an up-to-date iOS or Android device. But really wish the map apps would pre-emptively cache the data on its own when it knows you're not local.

Wow, Tom, haven't seen you in ages. It's a shame because you're so nicely on the subject, so well spoken... Really an honest pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the review!

Top Gear would be so brilliant with just Tom and Chris presenting. This review was literally all we need to see, entertaining and informative.

I think this will be Ferrari's best selling car ever just like the Urus is for Lambo. I always thought the Urus was ugly. This is gorgeous. They will be all over LA. It will be the IT car every rich person wants.

Those new Multimatic dampers are incredible. I'm amazed at how flat and stable it looks while cornering. That's something I did not expect from an "FUV."
