I believe The Goat is from an alternate universe where everything is mirrored, The Goat having gone through the same events The Lamb has, slaying their universe's version of the bishops, having made the same vow to TOWW. I think The Lamb's blood activated a sort of portal or mirror spell that allowed The Goat to pass through.

Well given that it's a darker version of the Lamb and if we take the trailers as Cannon the lamb is a lot more lenient and chill with his followers it's possible the goat is not that being much darker yet still treating his followers with Grace unlike the for bishops

Cool trick I found: if you destroy the statue of whatever bishop of the area you are in, you can instantly teleport to the boss fight you would be on!
For example if you beat the 3 mini bosses in anchor deep let’s say, and you would be going on the kallamar fight, when you get to the little map thing where you can choose where to go when you get to the crown of kallamar and break his devotion statue there’s a little portal and if you go in the portal you can instantly teleport to his boss fight! If found this out because I got curious and wanted to see if you could break the statue and you could and I jumped in the portal and instantly teleported to the leshy fight even though I already have him as a follower

With all the Easter eggs lifted from mythology and folklore already in the game, the devs could have a LOT of different possibilities in mind! Any substantial Canon lore or planned story ark would be difficult to reconcile with player agency, though...🤔 Or maybe it is just a multiverse/parallel timeline thing, and the "goat" got their crown/powers from "The One Who Constantly Demands 'Are We There, Yet?!'"😅
