He was watching Mens football so where did he insult woman. Just another example the sad society we live in

Can’t believe he even has to explain himself..

Why on earth would he regret saying that, what a ridiculous world we live in

Well done Souness, you said nothing wrong. Reading the majority of comments on social media and they agree with you.

Souness was absolutely bang on. And bang on for not bowing to the permanently offended. The more who follow him the sooner we'll do away with it once and for all.

He’s a good man and these stupid accusations are ridiculous. People who got offended need to cool down and stop being so negative. You can find something wrong with every comment on TV

Don’t apologise! We live in a world where people become offended over everything

Never apologise ... Do not bow to the mob! You apologise, it only gets worse! 👍

He has nothing to justify. We all know what he meant and absolutely no one is offended. If there are people offended, ignore them and they’ll go away.

Souness didn't do anything wrong, he wasn't trying to disrespect women's football, when people said "women's game" for three weeks straight during the Euros it's okay but when he says "men's game" once everyone is up in arms

The fact he’s even having to explain this, is concerning, especially when you think about how it’ll only get worse.

I read it as him saying it's a 'man's game' as opposed to a 'boy's game'. Which there's no issue with.

Well done to Graeme Souness for telling it, what it is don't see what problem is?
Wish we had more people like Graeme in media platforms.

It was 22 men playing, as opposed to 22 children. Man's game.
World has gone batty people. Outrage culture

The comments didnt even need to be clarified. Real men knew what he meant

Why even put this question to him Jim?, we need to start giving this subject no attention.

I agree with him 1000%. There have been a lot of voices saying the same thing for awhile now. It had got to the point that unless my team were playing I wasn't that bothered as it was bit boring. It had got too much like watching FIFA ont eh xbox.

But if two teams will be allowed to go at it for 90 mins then I am back in.

All I’ve seen since the euros final is how the “womens game” is improving, if they can say womens game why can’t we say mens game as he was talking about men playing…. Mens football

Fair play to Graeme. People complaining about this really must have no other problems to deal with.

Its Okay to be a man, young men reading this don't feel guilty because of your gender, race or sexual orientation.
