every time I lesten a review about a new subwoofer, they always say how the new design makes the subwofer more efficient, tighter and can reach lower notes with no distorsión.
reality nock down most of that subwoofers in real life fights versus the top Koch subws.
would be the case of this new klipsch subs ?

Which sub would you recommend to use with a pair of Heresy IV's for a 2 channel system in a 12 x 13 x8 room

How do you think the 1600 would
Compare to the SVS PB1600 or PB4000

I would pay real money for someone to run REW sweep of these subs and post them.

Screw all the new innovations with the driver and box....the thing they definitely need to improve and probably change all together is their amps...I've had 3 of the sw-112's and all but one of the amps fried..and in both cases in less then a yr of buying them..I don't push my equipment very hard so there was no reason for them to give out the way they did. It wasn't til after I read more reviews after mine fried did I learn about the history of Klipsch having lots of trouble with bad amps Love the way they sound and was definitely enough power and bass while they worked....but very disappointed in the reliability of their amps.

You know the funny thing is is it all out of all the reviews of all the Klipsch they're never on Mark you'll never find enough of these reviews to decide to spend that sort of money on a Klipsch what's up it is a very difficult decision because the reviews themselves are never consistent so you go with a k l i p s c h sub advertised that's already 2 to 3 years old and either they love it or they hate it or it just doesn't do what they wanted to do and it's the same with this new series.. subs would have to hit below 20 HZ in order to get any real true base out of them depending upon the size of your room the height of your room and whether it's carpeted or has just has wooden floors which does make a difference so you're better off with a carpeted floor then a hardwood floor for for most subs no matter the make no matter the model no matter the size the thing is is that the reviews are not consistent between those who review them and most who review them know nothing of what it is they're talking about when it comes to specs you know it's a very difficult decision to spend thousands of dollars on subwoofers Tower speakersno problem but when it comes to subs it is quite a conundrum.. and why is it that no one makes a 12 to a 15 inch base driver anymore when it comes to Tower speakers are floor standing speakers it's almost as though they consciously don't produce anything bigger than an 8-inch driver because they want you to spend an extra couple of grand on subwoofers why not just build a really decent 12 to 15 inch sub driver in the floor standing speakers not that difficult to do and they did it throughout the seventies and the 80s and even into the mid-90s without a problem, do you ever get the feeling that they omitted and dismissed drivers that running larger than 6 and 1/2 in just to make more money by selling subwoofers it's an easy to figure out retail got you again I swear this to be true so be very careful about how much you spend and what you spend it on only because the cost to produce these things is about 25% of the cost of buying the speaker so if you're spending $1, 000 on a subwoofer that cost to produce it is around $200 by the retailers to their profit margins are massive period, I'm just telling the truth here and I'm telling you exactly what I know when it comes to audio equipment altogether be careful about what you spend in kind because everyone knows that sale prices are usually about 50% off the suggested retail price at any other time of the year so be cognizant of time and be patient with your purchase you'll be rewarded by saving a fair amount of money so that you can buy another piece for your gear setup that will make you smile for the longevity and The eclectic selections within your gear setup it's very important to consider..😊😊😊😊
