The sub cabinet for the RP1000SW with a depth of 25 inches is really deep. Can it be placed with the woofer facing to the side
instead of front facing as It sticks out too much?

I'd have paid several hundred more for one of these with the remote app and built in DSP and PEQ that SVS has in all their Pro model subs now. But, I guess you can do that externally for a few hundred - by picking up something like a MinDSP 2x4 or Flex and putting that between the sub and the receiver, the 2x4 HD is just $225.

I'm sure these subwoofers are great for movies but I've always been under the impression Large driving subwoofers are not very good for 2 channel stereo 🤔
Some enlightenment wouldn't go a miss.
