I think Makos are my favorite species of shark. So fast, beautiful, and such torpedo like snouts. Awesome fish.

Great Shortfin Mako is one of the most biological swiftest, stealthiest, and fastest predator sharks in the ocean after cosmopolitan sailfish which is considered fish around the world. Shortfin Mako is considered also my particular favorite species of sharks and has intelligence matched to many Great White's cousins.

Most of all, these sharks are active and healthy at all times thus making coronavirus least to be infected wild species.

Came here to learn more about the beautiful Mako Sharks. Just read that EU and US block plans to protect world’s fastest shark... we need protection for all animal life

Although not as aggressive as the great white, the mako sharks are known for being the fastest sharks in the world. I would love to swim with sharks one day.

Dove with a Mako shark about 2/3rds the size of these. No cage, pretty close. They are stunningly beautiful. Shame this – like most 'shark week' clips – is going for over the top 'danger' and 'drama'.

I'm amazed at how reckless they are. The Makos were curious first and then they throw a lot of bait to put Makos into a feeding frenzy while his partner is in the ocean. It's stupid 😮
