I met Peter Green in the 80s. Great guitarist, beautiful voice and a sweet gentle soul. Such a lovely man. He deserves so much more recognition than he got.

I hate it when people see themselves in celebrities/figures that they never met, or don’t know personally, as some of them don’t 100% know what they are like away from the limelight, but Peter Green is an exception for me, a fragile but still intelligent mind, always searching for something bigger, but being too uncomfortable for the world to see it really, I almost always get sad when I see him or Syd Barrett get discussed they way they do, talented and intelligent people thrown into the circus not just of show business but life entirely, I think people understand what they went through more now thankfully, cheers for the music Pete, Hope you’ve found peace elsewhere.

I remember somebody was impersonating him in early 2000's which Peter saw on local news channels (person played in same key..etc) and after shaming them, he started playing and touring again ❤❤❤
