Once they don't NEED you anymore, you're discarded..never think so highly of yourself that you feel you're irreplaceable. I'd rather be genuinely loved than used

Take my advice. Having a lot of family and friends NEEDING you is not something you want. Only your employer should need you.

This is a great "law of power" but you got to be careful when using it on a job situation. It might prevent you from moving up because they don't want to loose you in your current position.

Nobody is indispensable. That's the only work law you need to know.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

This only makes sense in the context of a workplace. I don’t want any adult to be dependent on me

I think we all need to learn these laws not because we would want to use them but because they can be used against you if you aren't aware of them

Make yourself valuable by knowing what needs to be done and being willing to do it. Today more than ever it's easy to do so because so many are lazy and emotional, if you can work hard and apply logic, stay calm, control your emotions, they will not be able to operate without you.

A lot of my father's relatives really needed him and that was his biggest burden to bear. It was a really tricky situation to navigate because he was emotionally bound to his family but he knew they didn't deserve his help cz a lot of them were bums and users. While being needed for your talents is a good idea but to be in a place where you're irreplaceable... a lot of people will start pulling others down and turning work places and relationships really toxic, cz people who want to feel that way have a desparation for power and are willing to do even terrible things like locking people up in a situation which they can't escape. Not everyone is going to deal with it like my father did, many will approach it with predatory instincts.

I'm not sure about this one. Especially in romantic relationship and friendship. People in general take you for granted if you are the helper. They will just call you when they need you. You'll become a people pleaser. I prefer to be loved than needed.

Love is a feeling. You don't need to do anything for someone to love. And love is the driven force that sustain any relationship. Unfortunately Someone who needs you to solve their problem doesn't love you.

So true. But never forget that you've created a transactional relationship.

His book and approach is basically how manifest the symptoms of being powerful and competent instead of just being powerful and competent.

Usually companies can replace me pretty quickly, but my previous company fired me without proper reason and still haven’t replaced me. I was needed at that job and it’s hilarious seeing them try to pick themselves back up lmaoooo

LAW OF CONCENTRATION..whatever you focus on will manifest in reality. The connection between mind and reality exists, so everything you see playing out in your own little universe is a direct result of your creation whether conscious or subconscious. So within So without- better get cracking on that inward part if you want the outside part to be worth living in. Now THAT is POWER! ..not over others but over YOU.

Learned this the hard way. And i mean VERY HARD!

It's easier to navigate people when their self-interest lies in your favour, than speaking to their benevolence.
