Do not always believe what you read and hear the GOXLR is not dead.
Even though TC Helicon said they don't know what they are going to do with application support or how they are moving forward.

Thank you a lot. I bought one close to the end if 2021 and my PC took a dump. Then we were told our landlord was selling her place so we moved. (She never sold it) and I've never really been able to use it then I get back and found this out thinking it's now a paperweight. You saved me $385.

Thanks for the level-headed video! A lot of the "goxlr is dead" craze was starting to give me severe buyers remorse, even though I've had it for 3 years now. Appreciate the showing of how to get that browser version as well! I'll have to bookmark the github link and keep and eye on it until/if the official no longer works.

God this video makes me happy I just ordered one yesterday without realizing what was going on I just heard about it today and was upset that I just spent $400 on a device that wasn’t gonna be supported anymore so I’ll keep it and ride the wave out!

i want to get one i have the rodecaster pro 2 and it had tons of issues switch back to a goxlr love the goxlr its great i am glad its not dead

Good video but this didn’t really worry me anyway, due to the kind of software I run most of it is custom made by me for in house reasons regarding programming and development I don’t update windows like at all unless there is a critical security risk and I mean real real critical security risk that can harm me or my work, I don’t update because my software breaks from the most minor changes to the windows application programming interface (api) due most of the software being more reliant on the api than most normal programs, so in my case audio drivers will work the same as they always have on my version of windows.

A bonus reason I don’t update is because I’m running windows 11 on unsupported hardware and updating on unsupported hardware so far every time I’ve tried in the past has ended in absolute disaster which ends up requiring a fresh installation of windows.

I got the GOXLR few days ago but kept hearing a weird sound come into my headset like a thumb or something so ended up sending it back

right now i have a behringer 302usb, and have been looking at this and other things like the razer audio mixer because i like how they can adjust volume for other channels and stuff like that. would this still be a good option or should i think about getting something else
