I have given a months notice on a few job departures. If possible, I think this is a wise move. In one job interview/offering, I told the new employer I wished to give a months notice to my current employer. I think this help secure the new position as I was looked upon as considerate, and not likely to ever leave them abruptly.

Been at Walmart for over 3 years now, and the ASM I have now frustrates me to no end. The work expected is too much, I trained 2 department managers, 5 other associates and often do my department managers jobs for them, yet they refuse to make me a manager or even give me a raise.
