XDefiant 'FALLING BEHIND EXPECTATIONS'

OOF it appears XDefiant can't catch a break as it's reported XDefiant is falling behind expectations set out by Ubisoft. This is both a playerbase issue and a financial issue.

Its cool for a 30 minute game. Unfortunately it doesnt have much content variety and its pretty much a COD clone.

Why not use Ghost Recon characters? Why not Use Sam Fishers instead of his little homies? Why not lean on the Siege Operators? This is objectively your best video ive viewed. Ive been an avowed xdefiant hater but im giving the game a legit chance. I too am on the fence about the BP. I just don't think execs really believed in Mark Rubin. Maybe his attitude was the cause of such issues at Activision years ago!! For some reason *the exact same narrative followed him to Ubisoft San Francisco* and his smug pompous attitude on Twitter does not show me hes actually a person eho can control his emotions. Im honestly believing Exec's at Ubisoft put him on a short leash given his past

it just feels like a ubisoft asset flip...because it kinda is but soulless...this can also be an opportunity to introduce your fan favorite characters...think vass and all his crazy quips... they really need to spice things up, give players a reason to play, look at cod hq so much shit to do so much shit to spend money on so much shit to grind for. not having sbmm and not being on ps4/xb1 would have hurt the game too. and ubisoft's stock situation will not be helping.

I honestly don't care as much about the content as I do the net code/hit reg. Get that right and the game, at least for me, would be fine. But I think most of that comes from the top. I feel like Xdefiant's short comings, along with the issues that plague other Ubisoft titles fall on the CEO. He's the one in charge. He needs to spend the money on more servers and upgrade the ones they currently have. I mean, there is not one server in all of the northeast where I live. And we have major cities here like NY, Boston, and Philly. So, I don't think the developers are fully to blame. It seems like people are quick to blame the developers for the issues, but all of the decisions that affect the game are made by the higher ups. The developers just make the game. So, yes, the developers definitely need to give us a steadier stream of content, no doubt. But the higher ups also need to open their wallets and give us more and/or better servers to play on

Fortnite still has fomo for passes. Cod does for some. I can’t lie I get it for games I don’t even play much lol. I can’t say the same for this game, I like maybe a few things or if I love the idea I hate the execution of it. One game that does cosmetics very well is The Finals, granted it’s different as you can mix and match pants shirts, headgear, shoes, tattoos, gloves etc etc. but they make you see one thing that works with another then see that item works great with another different item. Making it your own unique skin. Plus you can buy things separately and not pay a ton for bundles. They also constant give away cosmetics for leveling up or community challenges. I got free outfits at the start of the season cause of that. Would be cool if XD did that here and there.

They're already on the right track with cosmetics they just need to pump them out more, and in the store not just the battle pass. The bone m16 and that steam punk ak in the battle pass are insanely cool they also have tracer skins for some guns as well. I feel like they're stepping it up they just gotta get that momentum going

I wish i was kidding when i said this but i have more fun playing bloodstrike a mobile warzone rip off with a pretty good pc port over xdefiant.

Funny thing is when i used to play xdefiant for the time i did the game was even sweatier than 2kd cod lobbies. And that was at xdefiant's high playercount point.

xdefiant feels like riotfall a roblox game almost perfectly. With slightly slower movement if xdefiant doesn't start getting more players soon im guessing support will end by summer next year.

I played a week and deleted the game. I dont feel sorry for anyone that spends any money on cosmetics. Nobone cares what you look like
