90K for a half ton pickup. Never thought I'd see the day.

A lot of people are complaining about $90K for a pickup truck, but keep in mind this trim is not for work truck consumers. They're for luxury SUV consumers who don't want the stigma of driving a luxury SUV.

You need a tungsten mine in order to afford one!

My 2014 1500 Hemi Sport Crew 4x4 has 195k miles on it. Runs & drives like new. I have a feeling it’s my last full-size pickup. I can no longer afford them.

Made me think of Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit when you said 90, 000 dollars, but the Ol' Bandit said Eighty Thouuusand Dollars for the run to get that beer in Texarkana. Oh, the good old days of movies in America.

Just ask Tundra owners how much they miss the ultra reliable 5.7 iforce engine compared to the problematic turbo engine, us Hemi owners are going to feel the same way I fear

Tim and Christen, As always thanks for the great review, information on the new 2025 Tungstien. As for me, give me the 540 HP I don't care about buying premium fuel, I want all the power.
Looking forward to the RAM REV coming soon!

Enjoy!

The V8 isn't about sound for most people, what its about is that many people drive these trucks 30-50k miles per year.

It's nice but I could never afford one.

Rough crowd here Tim. It's a nice truck. I am surprised the i6 is only 3.0 liters. Seems they could have worked off of the legendary 4.0 name and maybe garnered more interest, even if the engine had nothing in common with the old Jeep of yesteryear. the i6 is perfectly balanced by design. Should be very smooth. I will take the i6 over a v6 any day. I am disappointed in the payload, seems awfully low. I would like to see what other models offer for payload. Can't wait to see how it performs. Personally, I am stuck with my old trucks due to the high cost associated with these beautiful trucks, regardless of make. I picked up a 2011 f150 5.0 4x4 xlt for $5500 several months ago. We live a wonderful age where all of the trucks are very good looking and performing. If I had the funds, I would find it difficult to pick a truck. Best of luck to you on this rig.

If I am spending that much I am getting a 2500 Laramie Cummins.

I think the interior color is specific to the Tungsten.

Going to wait and see how it does after a few years in the tooth and how expensive it gets. I’m happy with my Ram 1500 Classic Hemi that actually looks like a Ram.

I’m really hoping for a Ramcharger tradesman and curious of the price.

truck looks nice but 90k is just ridiculous. now that you've drivin high country and now the ram which would you rather own, new ram with the 3l gas turbo or silverado 3l diesel? wonder if the cab has to be lifted off the truck to get to the hoses the engineers put above the transmission and back of engine like i've seen them have to do on the wagoneer.

The biggest issue is Ram changed plastic grill and added new engine, but increased prices like it’s completely redesigned.

a 500hp 500tq full sized truck with 1000ibs payload because of "features"? What the hell features weigh 1500ibs? The massager in the seats? The stitching? 22" rims, what other features does it have? A big screen? Running boards? That is crazy. Why not beef up the suspension to handle at least 2K ibs for a 500hp and 500tq full sized truck's payload? How much can it tow 8K?

My favorite thing about the 2025 redesign and new engine…
The manufacturer and dealer discounts on remaining 2024 inventory. I was never going to spend $80k for the Limited Longhorn I bought last weekend but $15k off brought it down enough for me to jump. And I feel good about it being the last 5.7 Hemi V8 in a half ton.
