The shoes industry- aka “Big Shoe” has been lying to us for decades now about what shoes are actually good for our health..

Study after study shows that the current conventional shoe with a narrow toe box and raised heel bed cause people MORE injuries while running compared to barefoot shoes or just being barefoot.
Not to mention all of the longterm negative health effects that are caused by wearing conventional shoes.

Yeah man I agree. I don't get why pointed shoes are the norm. It drives me crazy.

What's your take on barefoot running sandals Mike?

I started wearing barefoot shoes full time a while back, but I work at a factory, so I have to switch to steel toed boots when I’m out on the floor just for safety. The difference is crazy, I can’t get them off fast enough when I’m done with them.

Only thing I’d add is don’t jump straight into it if you’re not used to walking around barefoot or with more minimal shoes. Especially if you walk on concrete a lot the first few weeks can get painful if you’re not accustomed and try for extended periods of time.
