A couple things to consider when temps may be below freezing in the morning… Open your shoe laces up wide so if they freeze, you can still easily get your feet in. Carry a plastic grocery bag or produce bag to put your shoes in and keep them in your sleeping bag or under your quilt. (Along with your filter, water, batteries, etc. 😂)

Great going KNA You are doing so well. You might try setting up tent inside shelter on cold wet night. Have to rig it up with stakes in board cracks, etc. I think tent is always warmer than shelter and with tent in shelter you will not have snow or rain on you. Of course you have to be polite with taking up room if others are there. Bluestem NOBO 2017
