The NBA Trade deadline is just a couple of weeks away and NBA trade rumors have caught on fire. Leon Rose needs to make a Knicks trade happen that will add some scoring to the bench unit. Obi Toppin trade rumors have been the talk of Kniks rumors as it appears that the high flyer has fallen out of the Knicks rotation. Cam Reddish trade rumors also seem to be a name brought up in the latest NBA trade rumors. Good food for thought as always Marsh. I like the Trent deal but without Obi. I also say play Reddish and Obi more to see what we really have in these guys. They might excel playing alongside JB and RJ.

I think the Knicks should take some of the picks and trade for at least 2 of these players: Pascal Siakam, Buddy Hield, Myles Turner, Shai Gilgeous Alexander, Terry Rozier, DeMarr DeRozan, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Kyle Kuzma. Then they should pack the coach's bags and drive him to the airport as fast as they can. This Knicks team is good enough to be 3rd or 4th in the East. Thibs is over-using Randle and RJ. He's making the point guards pass half court and simply handing over the ball rather than making plays or drawing the defense so that the other players can get easier or better shots. Thibs also takes most of the bench out of the lineup or barely plays them for a few minutes. He didn't even use Cam Reddish that much so it's hard to even guess how could he really is. Yes, he started Jericho Sims due to pressure from the fans yesterday. However he barely included him in the offense. Thibs also didn't push the team to: get out in transition, pass the ball fast, pass the ball fast out of double teams, do more alley oops, do more pick n' rolls, cut to the basket when players are posting up so that they can get passes on the run & finish at the rim, move well without the ball, etc.

Notice that the Knicks almost beat Milwaukee. So how is it that they are struggling against the Spurs and Detroit without Cade Cunningham? They shouldn't even need Mitchell Robinson to defeat the Hawks. They have enough scorers on the team to outscore both Trae and Dejounte Murray (who they should have gotten). The issue is the coach. Thibs doesn't know how to coach offense. He got outcoached by Nate McMillian. His style on offense gets predictable after awhile. Gary Trent Jr. sounds good. But if I was the Knicks, I would make 2 or 3 trades and then look into firing Thibs. He turned Obi Toppin into a 3 point shooter instead of using him to drive to the rim, get out in transition, dunk on alley oops, dunk on pick n' rolls or roll to the rim for easy dunks / layups. Every basket is a struggle for the Knicks because of Thibs.

It don’t matter with the knicks coach he does not make no adjustments. That’s why when some one gets hurt the team goes down hill. Like why wouldn’t you play a three big man set if we are hurting at the center position or at least let Randle play center and Obie tge 4. He got obie out there trying to cacth and shoot

GT. Hmmm...Gary Trent Jr. is my favorite. I think that trade is the best out of these. However why should we trade Obi Toppin, Cam Reddish, Derrick Rose AND a pick? Obi and Cam could average the same 18 points per game or more if we fired this coach. In fact, I think Obi Toppin has the potential to be like a young Amare Stoudemire and Cam Reddish could be like a young Ron Artest. However I do think the Knicks need shooting and GT helps in that area.

What makes you think Thibs is would play Eric Gordon when he doesn’t even play Rose & Reddish. Mind you Rose was our best player in our most recent playoff run. That Gordon trade would do nothing lol but the Rockets would probably like to add a guy like Reddish to the roster.

The deal for Gordon is fine, just doesn't change much. The deal for Beasley isn't bad, but I wouldn't put the Dallas pick in there. It would have to be the Washington or Detroit pick. The Trent deal isn't terrible, but I wouldn't make it. Personally, I think that the Knicks are one big star wing away from contending. We blew it on D Mitch, but that's in the past. With all of the trade capital that we have; I would consider going after Pascal and OG, Derozan and Lavine, or Kuzma and KP. My ideal move would be to send Fournier, Rose, Reddish, Randle, and as many picks as needed for Pascal, OG, Porter, and Flynn. If that's not enough, then I would try to make a move for Derozan and Lavine. I'd throw Barrett, Rose, Fournier, Toppin, Reddish and some 1's in that deal.

None of them are worth a 1st round or really make the team contenders but I like the Eric Gordon trade scenario you proposed but more of a 1st for Clarkston and that’s a contending top 4 team in the east and I would say thibs Guys
