@DrDiatone You can get every type of cable through Newegg. Check your USB card to see what type of power connector it uses. Many new cards need a Molex type connector so you might need an SATA adapter or Molex splitter depending on how you set up the server.

It's not necessary to pry the socket open as some have suggested. The clip has a couple of tiny teeth locked in at the top of the receptacle. Press the plug INTO the socket to relieve pressure on those teeth. Using a small flat screwdriver, press in at the bottom of the spring clip, between it and the top of the mini-SAS socket. While pressing in with the screwdriver, pull up on the plug.

@macintosh0 I have two of these and do not make noise at all and they are very quick.

for the front 4 bays you do not need any cables or power as it is in a slot mechanism however you will need a SATA cable for the top 5.5" bay and the appropriate connectors.

For me I added a 3.5" SATA drive so i need a sata cable and also a molex to SATA power connector.

@macintosh0 the HDDs will fit into the bays you will not need additional cables.

45 decibels at the front and no vibration. It has four drive bays and no additional cables are needed for those four SATA bays.

All are good, but I'm having difficult time in removing the static cable from the board. It has a small metal clip and I snap them to remove, but it doesn't help.

I'm unable to remove the tray becasue of that stupid cable, any help?
