Minecraft's Lost Version | The Only Version You CAN'T Play

Today on this channel I decide to upload at 2:30AM again because Final Cut Pro kept corrupting frames so I got to spend a day transcoding several hours of video. I also go into a deep depression over the only version of Minecraft that is lost media. I have been trying for nearly six years to find this version, and I may have just found something interesting... watch the video for a foreseeable and expected surprise that'll have you laughing mildly at least twice. And thank you to my viewers who subscribe and tolerate a nonsensical and fucked up upload schedule.

as you said media preservation is important, if its a thing that nobody cared about or not, its still history. and even if i never even used apple tv i think your effort in research will help me get this thing to run on an apple tv, you never know what life will give you. Something that isnt needed doesnt mean that its entirely useless.

I've been jailbreaking my iPhone since 2012 on my 3GS, and I currently own a jailbroken iPhone 11. I've also dabbed into the PSP/PS3/PS4 hacking scene and had modded versions of those consoles. Its funny because my family owns this version of minecraft for more than 10 years. I used to play it a lot in the primary school and now its just my sisters that are playing it from time to time to this day on our Apple TV and none of us ever realized that it was considered to be a lost media at one point. i remember typing minecraft into the apple tv app store and seeing it there, asking my parents to get it. they said no.

Actually, appx is a packaging format for UWP. UWP apps are still under the .exe format, just heavily dependent on UWP dependencies and need special user permissions to be ran.

These games, and the situations/mismanagement around them are incredibly important to preserve. They perfectly spot light what not to do as a game dev, corporate greed, and that even the companies that people consider infallible can slip up pretty bad.
