The 3 BEST Vanguard ETFs in 2020!

In this video, we are going over the 3 best Vanguard ETF's that you can invest in, for 2020. As the US economy possibly enters its mature phase, the types of index funds you purchase may change for short term investments. In the long term, these Vanguard ETF funds offer:

1. Low expense ratios
2. Great returns
3. Diversified holdings

The three funds featured in this video are:

1. Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO)
2. Vanguard High Yield Dividends ETF (VYM)
3. Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI)

Vanguard is one of the top brokerages in the world. Tons of people use them and I have been investing on their platform since I graduated college. They offer some of the lowest expense ratios I have ever seen, and their funds are well performing and really mirror the overall market curves.

Do NOT put your money in an actively managed fund with high expense ratios. Rarely can these funds beat the index and the fees really add up. If you look at the compounded fees over 30 years, you'll likely lose well over hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Thank you so much for the video, you have a new subscriber! Because of this I am so mad at my stockbroker (Degiro). They have none of those ETFs available. I currently have Vanguard S&p 500 Ucits Etf (Vanguard Funds Plc) (VWRL) at € 76.36 and Vanguard S&p 500 Ucits Etf (Vanguard Funds Plc) (VUSA) at $53.75. I didn't know these bigger, juicier ETFs existed. I guess I'll have to open an account with Vanguard directly.

Hey Charlie, loved the video and the way you break everything down. Question? who do you use for your 401K? Or do you use an IRA? Can you do a video with recommendations please?

great video! I own a good bit of VTSAX which is the exact same stocks as VTI. Vtsax is mutual fund and Vti is etf. I'm thinking about switching to VTI because its expense reduced from 0.04 to 0.03. Since they are the same 3600 stocks and VTI is now 25% less expense than VTSAX I'll probably switch. I like VOO 2% dividend! I'm also looking at VGT and their 15% growth for 10 years. Your money would double every 5 years. So 10k would be 20k in 5 years and 20k would be 40k in another 5 years. Compound effect. VTI/VTSAX/VOO averaged a little over 10% which is great and should be in 401k/ira for long term stability. 10% doubles every 7.2 years so 10k would be 20k in 7.2 yrs and $25, 937 in 10 years. I'll stick with VTI/VTSAX for retirement and after tax VGT trade

I am also investing in VOO and VTI. I would also recommend people to invest some of ur money in common stocks such as Microsoft, Apple, JP Morgan, Bank of America.

I’m grabbing VOO this week!! At 19, I figured that 30-40 years down the line, it’ll real pay off. Check out VOOG! It’s the vanguard S&P growth fund that tracks the technology stocks more than any other sector!

This was a great video. I have VTI & VYM. Was thinking of adding one more to complete my simple 3-stock portfolio. Guess it should be VOO?

VTI is a better, more diversified fund than VOO. VTI invests in the entire US stock market while VOO only invests in about 500 large companies. While the smaller companies in VTI only compose a small portion of the portfolio, at least this provides more diversification and potential returns than VOO.

Between VTI and VXUS (total international stock ETF) you'll be vested in the entire world stock market.

Hi Charlie - new subscriber here! 👍 Why no love for VGT? The expense ratio is a tad higher at .1%, but the returns over the last bull run more than made up for that! I think Tech will remain 'where it's at' for sometime, and VGT will be the etf to lead us out of this current bear market! Thoughts?

Great Vid!     I currently hold VTI, VTG, VYM & VOO.  Have some $ on the side but the market is at an all time high. Should I wait for a pullback or just DCA my $ in ?   Thanks

What would you buy now? Berkshire B or say a Vanguard growth Etf? What would the likely outcome be in say 5 years?
