I have joint pain I am doing something make my pain go down which is I peel the turmeric the fresh one and wash and cut is very small pieces and put in a cup put boiling water on it with black pepper, ginger powder and honey and cover it leave it for 3-4 hours then drink it don’t throw the turmeric pieces away but eat them this way lower my joint pain to 70% it is amazing

Great advice doctor yet black pepper needs to be added in order for the body to assimilate the turmeric better

To absorb it better you need to add a fat (teaspoon of ghee or coconut oil) and black pepper. I also add Manuka Honey. Using it to manage arthritis pain and it works well

I agree, I love this. And I do have joint issues too. Although, it’s good to know to Use caution when turmeric or curcumin are taken with medicines or supplements that have anticoagulant or antiplatelet (blood thinning) effects.

Why use capsules when you can buy it at grocery store, get tumeric seasoning or fresh, mix with ginger and cinnamon to taste and try that. You may already have everything in your house if you check your seasoning cabinet ❤ capsules are cool too just would recommend the spice cabinet first!

I put it in my coffee. Great stuff. I use Luzanne coffee with chichory in it . The chichory is a prebiotic. Food for the probiotic I take

I grind the capsule in a cup. I’m handicapped in my hands & can’t open them. I should’ve gotten the powder. But anyway I put the spices in a cup with ginger powder, a little cayenne pepper, very small amount of nutmeg, & some cinnamon. Add a little olive oil and stir well. Then I add milk, blend & heat up. It’s delicious. Another option is to add ground clove & drink at bedtime.

Doctor, your sharing of these herbs benefit makes me to remember that I do have a few traditional herbs and spices recipes left by my mom health supplement such as tumeric, ginger, betel leaves, pegaga (Hydrocotyle vulgaris) or otherwise known as Pennywort, cloves, dry coriander seeds etc
