Best advice my parents gave my husband and I was to discuss how we wanted to raise our kids BEFORE we had kids. My parents were at opposite ends of how to discipline and that created so much unnecessary chaos as I grew up.

"I don't think it's a coincidence that this little boy is sitting at the head of the table, do you?"
NAILED IT!

I love how Jojo looks so official and serious when she first comes but after the observation period is over, she becomes more casual, and personal and fun, but still with that serious edge to her.

I have epilepsy and when I was diagnosed with it, the same thing Aiden told his mommy, I told my momma. We're gonna be ok and we know it!! Good job little Aiden!!

I feel bad for the mother having to witness her dad dying from diabetes but I can understand why she so afraid that it could happen to Aiden if he's not eating.

I'd love to see an update on this family. I have T1D since childhood (55-years old now) and know that if you take care of yourself, it won't rule you...you will rule it! All my best to Aiden.

I'm a little concerned about Liam; with so much focus on his brother's diabetes. Without more interaction and 1 on 1 time with mom and dad, I'm afraid that Liam might start seeking attention in negative ways.

One of my students has type 1 Diabetes. It’s crazy see how far technology has come with insulin pumps and Dexcom

This family were so receptive to the help Jojo gave them, all quick learners! I hope the parents relationship continues to approve.

Bravo Supernanny! I am really proud of you for normalising diabetes in children and teenagers and also for explaining all of us what diabetes actually implies.

I have high functioning autism. One thing I can pick up on is how sweet this family is. I don't know them but I like them.

At least nowadays there’s more tools for testing than the finger pricks. Poor kid. I would have hated that so much at that age.

I’m cracking up at dad and the kid going back and forth with “no, yes, no, yes” lol

Part of it is she is grieving over her father and is taking it out on her son. We do things like that.
