I had an idea to reorganize my collection by director. Big mistake.... found out I was unsatisfied with it, so I moved everything back alphabetically. What a nightmare.

Was doing the same thing the other day. I don't do it alphabetically because the amount of movies that would need to be shifted makes it to time consuming. I'll sort by actor/actress or genre.

It takes me hours sometimes. Depending on how long I wait before reorganizing and what I've bought.

This is why it’s critical having all your films tracked in an excel spreadsheet that you can track alphabetically. Makes life much easier.

I'm looking at my collection now.... I was motivated to alphabetize everything, so I can actually find the films I want to watch.... well now I'm exhausted just looking at everything and thinking about the work ahead.... think I'll pass for today!

Personally, it’s more annoying to have my collection out of alphabetical order than it is to spend the time organizing it.

If only there was a way to watch all of these movies virtually. You know like a service you could pay for that would be broadcast into your home and you could just scroll through a menu and pick out a movie to watch, that would be amazing and you would save so much money and you wouldn’t have to store all these videos.
If someone invented that service it would make DVDs and BlueRay obsolete.
