She was so creative and innovative and was great with her time management. She stayed reserved to herself and didn’t let her emotions from everyone else get to her. That idea of using potato & mushroom to create a “vegetarian bone marrow” really is genius! I’m not all that fond of mushrooms myself, but I’d definitely try that if I could, since it’s almost in a puréed form. Maybe that should be one of their harder challenges … make a carefully selected person (invited to the show) like an ingredient they’d normally despise eating! 😄

After watching so many videos of Gordon Ramsey swearing off at contestants and making them feel like crap, it’s nice to find a show where the chefs give objective criticisms and a sense of hopefulness and pride.

the judge meaning well, distracted him so that it didn't register that on him he'd forgotten to cook the curd- -Judge: Now is this something you'll need to refrigerate? He: Oh, yes, it is...& off he dashes to the fridge (w/out cooking the curd...) JUDGES, stop distracting the contestants with needless chit-chat..STOP IT.
