I was done with her music when I learned she had appeared on Ellen and acted as if she didn’t know if homosexuality is a sin or not. How is someone who does not know anything about holiness suppose to worship the One whose name is Holy?

I used to work in clerical work in a hospital. One day a bunch of us girls went to have lunch together. A girl (I can't even remember her name) had a newspaper and was reading horoscopes. When she got to me I told her I didn't get involved with that stuff. She asked why and I told her the Bible is against it. She got furious! It was crazy. She told everyone that I was a "religious nut". Well I should have known my answer would create a riff but I had to be truthful.

My husband and I went to one of her concerts, right when she was coming up in her career. Jesus was not mentioned at any time of her concert. I was very disappointed in her and since then, I don’t listen to her. I pray her eyes will be opened, she will repent and make amends to all who listen to her before it’s too late. I believe all of us really need to stay close to the Lord bc we can be led astray easily. We have to know God’s Word and all things are to be compared to it’s truth !!! Keep speaking truth Spencer, praying for God’s protection over you !!

Sad but true. I'm a worship leader at a church and my husband and I have decided to leave. Our original concerns was their light view of scripture in a sense that they could "stay in His presence" all service and be ok with not preaching a message. As more days pass and I am able to pray and study after the meeting we had with the pastors, I see the consequences of not regarding the word of God as the primary source of our growth in Christ. Without the word as our foundation, we gravitate to some really weird, heretical behavior. I love to praise and worship the Lord because HE IS FAITHFUL and I am grateful. But I only know what I know because of the precious word of God.

I'm a somewhat newbie Christian. 3 years clean, sober, celibate, and SAVED by God's grace and mercy. Lauren's music helped me so much when I was coming out of a dark and dangerous lifestyle and giving my heart to God. So there is something positive to say about her.

I actually saw her in concert a couple months ago and heard an interview a while back that the Lord had been putting on her heart to go back to her roots of why she became a singer and that's to sing for HIM and that is exactly what she's trying to do again and has been for some time. On Kaleidoscope Jesus, some of her songs tell stories, some talk about Jesus. So my prayer is that people can stop judging the outwards and realize that we have all fallen off the track at some point and God always pulls us back when we are His ❤️ I went through a period in my life too when I was more concerned with pleasing others than him. I'm sure we've all been there

And those words are used in the Bible as well. the enemy is the one that came and tried to mimic Jesus because he wants to be like him as scripture tells us. But because the true Christians have not been stepping up and showing who the real God is, in his beautiful manifested presence, the rest of the world is getting the deceptive view of it through New age and other religions but it's not the true Spirit! The closer we get to God's spirit the more we will see mysteries of him unfold. The word reset is not uncommon in the Christian churches. It's good for us to get rid of our flesh and reset ourselves on the mind of Christ. Just because certain words are used in new age does not mean that they were originally not intended for God. Being in his presence alone strips all of the chaos and we do find that stillness with him again. It was obvious she was talking about God, especially since she mentioned Him in the beginning. 💙

I came into the Kingdom during the Jesus movement. I am a musician and have been a worship leader for roughly 50 years. This stuff began to creep in way back in the beginning of the Jesus People. I do believe that musicians and singers are especially vulnerable to spiritual deception. And I totally agree that there needs to be accountability and a holding to Biblical standards. Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying we should only sing old hymns but our music/worship should be Biblically based and those that lead it should be held to a moral, spiritual, Biblical standard.

I agree. I go to a small church close to my town, (same parish) and my church is full of older pple who have been there since they were kids! Our pastor and his wife haven't been there 10 yrs yet and are not as old as most of the members. His wife asked us the other day if we woukd mind if they would switch out some of the old hymns for more modern "christian" music and me and my husband and kids quickly all said No! Lol we love the old hymns even if we sing it off beat♡ a pot of pple don't come to our church bc of the old music they say, but I say give me the authentic music and worship!! With all that being said, we must pray for these preachers, musicians, etc.- that are lost and being lied to by the enemy. We are christians that need to be praying for the lost when we hear and see things like this. I pray that Lauren and anyone else that is blinded by veils of the enemy, that those veils be lifted off in Jesus' name. Blessings to you all. Remember to be kind and gentle when talking to or about the unsaved...that's in the Bible as well.
