Lauren Daigle says she is not a Christian Artist

She rose to fame as a Christian Artist but now that she has fame she is starting to sing a different tune.

It's so simple, she is a normal person who went to church when she was younger, grew up in the Christian faith, that's it.
1. She started in a wordly way : American Idol.
2. She used the Christian charts as a springboard to boost her fame and career enough to be recognized with today's media capabilities.
3. She sings about hope and positivity. Not about the gospel.
4. She does not write based off scripture, she writes completely secularly, only just about hope and positivity that humans are able to do themselves, NOT through the glory of God.
5. Now that she has WORDLY success and fame, she clearly is on the fence about if she's a Christian artist or a secular artist anymore, since she knows she doesn't need the Christian charts anymore to be where she's at now. This is why she probably never mentions the word Jesus.
6. She says she sat on a balcony and basically meditated and got inspiration to write. She does not mention prayer, or inspiration from the Lord whatsoever.
7. Now she flat out denies she's a Christian artist. She basically makes it super obvious she's a secular artist that writes "beautiful" music for hopeless people and uses their testimonies to boost her image further and give glory to her, NOT God/Jesus.
8. She needs to get taken off the Christian charts ASAP, needs to be declared a secular artist with her own words and let it be known instead of constantly sugar coating and beating around the bush about her walk with God whenever she is asked.
9. People need to stop feeding into her ego/pride and keep telling her that HER music saves them, not God. These people need to go listen to REAL contemporary Christian live artists that actually make REAL music based off scripture and glory to GOD, not themselves.

Sure it’s her right to be a mainstream artist. But she needs to remember that she has 1.7m followers & most are Christian youths that are being influenced by what she says & does. She is definitely responsible for them before God whether she realizes it or not. Luke 12:48

Each time I see interview with Lauren Daigle, I begin to see less of Christ & more of the world in her & from her mouth. This just finally made me think that she's not a true Christ follower.
When Jesus is first in your life, you forget the money comfort fame & pleasing people, you pick up that cross & you walk the narrow way. Needing Jesus to help us in this sinful flesh were stuck in, Daily! It seems that once the world knew her she lost herself to them.
I pray Jesus opens the eyes of her heart & she repents & changes.
We can't be friends with the world & say we're true Christian. The fruits of the spirit are showing up rotten here.

OMW People relax, She meant to say if she sees herself as an artist it encompasses EVERYTHING. It means it Christian too..she isnt just a Christian artist, she sings other songs too. She didnt say she isnt a Christian - No one can speak this way with a warm heart and not be a Christian. She speaks true words and never have I ever heard her sing something that is not true. I’ve heard these actual full interviews and this is a mischaracterization of Lauren. As Christians, we don’t do Christian this or Christian that. “To live is Christ” for a Christian. In fact, Lauren recently said she started out trying not to say certain things to be inclusive but that she doesn’t feel that way anymore because she loves Jesus and isn’t going to hide that. So it’s the opposite of what this video is trying to say, she’s actually growing stronger in her testimony for God. “Christians” will have to face Jesus one day at the judgment seat for how they tried to destroy the testimonies of other Christians.

She did a live concert where she said at this point she shyed away from the (Christian) label, but no more. This interview was years ago. I'm not one of her huge fan, or anything. I do know years ago that I, too, was not where I needed to be, but thank God for grace and His unmerited favor. You can come home again.

Lauren thanked 12 Tone Music label which was started by Doug Morris (formally from Sony Music) while accepting the Dove Award for Song of the Year. This is a anti-Christian secular record label. This will probably explain her appearances on these secular late night talk shows, Ellen, Billboard, iHeart Radio, and other secular interviews. She will Not talk about Jesus or share the true Gospel during secular interviews. Wake Up Church, she is slowly adding secular cover songs in her concerts until she is making only inspirational music Not Faith based music. So, is she deceiving her Christian followers?

She even said artist includes everything, and Christian artist includes her Christian art specifically. She never said "I don't want to be a Christian artist.
