That's a beautiful thing! Storage is awesome. Also that dog looked at Scott like "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers". LOL

“I don’t actually know what I’m doing, Im just having fun” this may become my favorite quote ever.

Well executed...As someone that worked in a lumberyard as a teenager, I would suggest you "sticker" (thin strips of waste wood) the stacked lumber to allow air circulation around each board.

just a suggestion, please round over the corners and edges of those rungs. if a random knee, shin, elbow or head bumps into one of those... oh man you don't want the pain.

I'm liking the Friday videos but now I need to find something else to have my Saturday morning coffee with.

That must feel good having that space more organised.

And when you run out of timber, you can take the rack apart. Genius thinking.

Hey! That’s how I built my indoor rack. Only I made short spacers so I could vary the height on the “shelves” with free open holes every 10cm’s. It’s a very flexible solution, you can easily vary the depth of the outriggers too. I didn’t fasten the outriggers, once loaded, they won’t move..
Organisation makes all the difference. Thanks, nice seeing you again!

Looking like a mini Bunnings trade section 😂. Storage projects are always so satisfying, I find it clears up your physical space and mental space haha. Great stuff Scott!

I built a 6m rack very similar to this last year. One thing i can guarantee you is that when you need a certain dimension of timber it will be at the bottom of its pile 😆

Bulbs in the garden
Hello Scott and Jess (AKA Scott Brown Carpentry) from Sydney Australia. Bulbs are an easy way to vary contrasting colours and make terrific borders, or;
in larger spaces complete beds, and there are many tulip festivals that celibate with vibrant pattern blooms. The main thing is to plant in soft soil and separate after a flowering show to stop clumping. They can be stored like onions for next season.
