I ONLY used LIGHTROOM AI to Edit This Photo!

Editing photos in Lightroom has never been THIS EASY!!

In this Adobe Lightroom 2023 tutorial, I’m going to show you just how powerful Lightroom AI is! In recent updates, Lightroom has been pushing Lightroom AI editing and especially Lightroom AI masks. Lightroom masks 2023 are pretty impressive but let’s find out just how good Lightroom AI really is! I only used Lightroom AI to edit this photo!

Another one of my favourite Lightroom 2023 new features are the Lightroom AI presets, they can allow you to do some easy Lightroom editing with only a few clicks.

Great explanation on WHY you actually use which Slider. Great trick with the radial Gradient and subtracting the Person die separation

The only Ai used here was the selection process. Great for sure, but every photo editing program ... even free online stuff kids are using, has that now, so nothing all that special anymore. The Sky had to be subtracted from the foreground selection so the Ai didn't work all that well on that.
You used your preferred sliders in your preferred ways, so this was not an "only Ai" edit at all. It was your own "selection assisted" edit.
I guess there aren't any rules for titles, so we'll all need to wade through mistakenly titled videos to see what they are actually about.
This one is just another fairly good but very incomplete example of how to use Lightroom Classic's basic masking tools.
Sorry to be a spoiler here, but for me, at least, the title is annoyingly misleading.

Well.., these tools in LR come in handy, no question about it, I casually use them too, but I’m reluctant to call them intelligent. There’s much marketing involved in this so called AI business. The backside of all this is that in my opinion to many photographers are relying on these tools to sugarcoat crappy images, since they seem to be forgetting how to use their gear and setting it up to obtain a good image in the first place. And sometimes, folks, the scene is just dark, hazy and dull. That’s nature.

Sky selection is not AI, you made manual adjustments to the selected areasso the image most certainly was not entirely edited with AI

What would be useful for Lightroom/Camera Raw would be AI color balancing and adjustment. I can imagine something much more effective than the current, LUT/filter-based approach.

It really is interesting what Adobe is doing with AI. Obviously it is catching up, but LR users can be assured that a full suite of LR AI is in development.

This is good! I should have used this! A lot of photos I do touch ups and edits for are primarily portraits of people and I often enhance eyes. I am gonna have to try this and create a preset.

clearly skill is still needed. because you did not just press 1 button called edit and it was done. you had to make choices on what to do and how much. the AI just makes it quicker and lets you focus on the art side not he mechanics. much like a painter does not make his canvas and paints from scratch
