*_Thank you so much for sharing this. Who would have thought that this simple step make a world of difference? This is one of the reasons I leaned away from Google Keep and tried other apps. Would def consider this._*

I think it would be incredibly helpful if we could create sub-labels within main labels. This would allow for a more granular organization of notes, especially for those with complex projects or tasks. But...

GEM channel . Definitely deserves much more sub and views . I really appreciate that

I've been doing this for a while and it is nice to have a clean page. There is one down side though - if you are using the sidebar in Docs or Gmail, the keep panel only shows the home page notes and I haven't yet found an option to load tags from the side bar.

This is really interesting. Archiving does, however, impact using the pin (at least the way I've used it in past). I use labels to group lists (and a number of my lists have multiple labels if I want a particular lists grouped more than one way). I've used the pin to separate the lists I use most often within a label category. When I archived everything, it removed the pins, which I didn't expect. If I re-pin a list, it unarchives it and it seems like using the pin is impactful only in the Notes folder. Because the Notes folder is the default, using it as a set of lists I'll need to access in the short term is nice. This gives me some good ideas for maybe using Keep a little differently than I have in past. Great video!!

Something worth mentioning. I personally put all my notes in labels and then archive each note so there is a place to see all my notes at once but also have a notes section that is blank and ready to go. But once your notes are in labels and not in the notes section, they can no longer be rearranged. This is only possible with the notes you leave in the main notes section.

Really love your videos! How did you create the Quick Links in that note?

Hi Scott, do you know of a way to create folders AND sub folders of that level 1 folders in KEEP.?.

That's a pretty good idea for me - and my *73* different labels and 1100 notes.
I've been using Keep for a few years now - and since then I've accumulated a lot of labels & notes

Nice tip.. I've always used a lot of labels (I have paid Google account, not sure how many but seems I have a LOT of ability to create tons of labels...) and personally I never both to even look at that 'Notes' homescreen, I find it less than worthless. I just go to one of my label/folders below. I have found over the years that putting a few hours into Keep and a little creativity it can completely replace most note taking apps for me, I'd guess for other people too.

Such videos should be as shorts because you already have covered almost the same in the past.

1 problem remains. You can’t add a pdf file to a Keep note. Is possible in all other note taking apps. But they don’t have OCR that Keep has in pictures (except Evernote)

I've been doing this for a while, everything that I archive basically gets organised and sorted then i can access it from the labels. Everything unarchived still needs to be sorted. I usually clean it up every week. Keep is great for a quick note taking app but i wish it had formatting on the web version, pdf's and folders

Are there any “select all” shortcuts for iPhone app users?
