@cretnotonic: You're probably adding several columns or rows next to each other that have different quantities of cells (like 5 cells down one column, but 6 cells down the next column). Excel sees that as inconsistent and a potential error.

I would like to =SUM a set of custom numbers expressed as 0+00. i.e. =SUM 0+11, 1+12, 0+24. I would like excel to =SUM these as 1+47. Is this possible? Thanks.
