I just prefer the souund, feel and speed of the 2.0 Ecoboost in the Mondeo. It isnt awful on consumption either, for the power. As well as it being a super large family car with an auto box.

Because some people prefer the 2.0 EcoBoost. I have one atm as a company car, and I'm trading it next for the 2.2 200PK 420nm diesel. It isn't as fast, but should still pull better at low revs. You can't get the powershift on the 2.2 though, only a manual or regular auto :( I've gone for the manual.

I have a Midnight sky metallic Titanium X Sport with 2.0 Ecoboost, and I find it better if you accelerate using the sport, or S mode.

you mean the smell of the exhaust fumes, not the diesel fuel itself! I agree the exhaust can smell quite "sweet" on a modern well maintained diesel.

EcoBoost 2.0 I do not like totally. Driving ST220 3.0 V6 from 2004 years without any modification. The car is surprisingly flexible and good performance. I drove on LPG 30000 km. Auto ropzędza up to 240-250 km / h, fuel max, at 220-240km / h to 18 liters of LPG / 16 liters Pb. At 180km / h have 4-4.5 thousand RPM. There is a worthy successor to the Mondeo ST220 3.0 V6. I would recommend ... below for a link with a passing car on the highway packed.

2.2 tdci probably cost more in Poland we have to pay more TAX for > 2.0 engines.

Gasoline is for performance and diesel is for traction. The 2.0 stci is one of the best engines available with less than 2 litre.
