Now that's funny. I watched Ava's Possessions yesterday! Hated the cover art too but the idea and reviews intrigued me. Turned out pretty great :)

I really enjoyed The Hallow as well :) Lights Out surprised me. I expected it to be cheesy but it was actually really well done. Stranger Things was so great! I could keep gushing haha

Love you Emma! Have you seen Under the Skin? Pretty slow, but I loved that one, a new favorite. ❤️

Finally you watched The Hallow haha, I recommended it some weeks ago and I can't wait for your review!

i watched Ava's Possessions a few months ago and i thought i'd like it based on the title design but i actually only gave it one and a half stars on letterboxd. i remember just thinking the lighting was too perfect that it looked terrible, you know? even in the trailer it looks like it'll be really great but something with the pacing and the production value didn't work for me.

also, i haven't heard of February/The Blackcoat's Daughter. after watching the trailer i'm on the fence about whether or not it's worth my time, haha. i think i might skip that one and go for Lights Out and The Hallow instead!

great video! have a nice winter and stay warm, emma! (:

Glad you got to watch An Open Secret, I like all Amy Berg's Documentaries. I went to a pre screener of Lights Out, really disappointed so maybe you can change my mind on that one. Random watch was Among The Living - France, I enjoyed it and In The Deep which was much more intense than The Shallows.

on your category of bands, have you ever heard of Ghost? They are a sort of a metal band that totally embody traditional horror films in a tribute/satirical way. My gf and I bonded over that band. just thought I'd share

great vid yet again Emma 'although I disagree with you on the black coats daughter as I thought it was so damn slow and i saw the twist coming from a mile away, great acting tho especially from Emma Roberts whom I love.can't wait to see your review on Sacrifice!

Tried criminal minds after a friend told me i would love it since we both enjoyed "Dexter" but nah. Dexter was amazing up until a point. Surely you have seen Dexter though.

Hey, new subscriber here. Randomly stumbled across your channel while looking for horror movie recommendations and your reviews are really well done and have certainly given me some awesome recommendations! Keep it up!

On a video-related note, please do post the rant about The Girl in the Photographs! It seemed like such a great concept and had so much potential to be good and missed at every opportunity. There were no twists or turns, or really any explanation on why literally anything in that movie happened. There was no struggle or fight at all in the end scene either which just kind of makes you wonder why there was this big buildup it. Ugh, this movie made me really mad haha. Would love to hear what you have to say about it though!

Kung fu panda, HAHA. Wow, Clemence Poesy from The Tunnel is in The Ones Below? Interesting. The only thing I saw that would fall into horror last month could be The Machine Girl but nothing else really.
