It's a small dance shoe and specialized toe work. It has versions in different cultures and countries. If you watch other videos of different dance companies from Russia, I think even used to some extent in Chinese opera, etc, and also watch demo videos, you will realize it's a discipline and an artistic feat that takes years of practice and is not an acrobatic cheat using circus props (unless you consider the shoes as props).

Да видно что маленький сегвей использует, во- первых слишком быстро перемещается, одета огромная накидка до самого пола, чтоб исключить видимость колес, руки держит впереди когда перемещается, что свидетельствует что используемый сегвей с рулевой рукояткой, которую он использует чтоб убрать сегвей когда останавливается и накидку распахивает, плюс слишком плавное и быстрое перемещение, что отличается от стандартной походки других танцоров, которые не жульничают при помощи сегвея, кроме того резкое изменение траектории движение под углом, что свидетельствует о перемещении на колесах
