NASA's MRO Sees Possible Martian Water Flows

Observations from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, MRO, have revealed possible flowing water during the warmest months on Mars. Scientists discuss the findings at a NASA Headquarters news briefing held August 4, 2011.
Dark, finger-like features appear and extend down some Martian slopes during late spring through summer, fade in winter, and return during the next spring. Repeated observations have tracked the seasonal changes in these recurring features on several steep slopes in the middle latitudes of Mars' southern hemisphere.

if they discover any form of life ill be glad, mabye it will boost the general public imagination and interest in space again, i mean im only 17 but i think not enough money or public interest is in space anymore

Congratulations to NASA and the Obama Administration and to humans everywhere for continuing our quest to understand our true circumstances. As Carl Sagan once said; Life looks for life. Understanding why Mars and other planets are the way they are is critical to understanding our own planet and our prospects for the future. I only wish the media could glorify these amazing achievements, instead of focusing on the bad behavior of a few wealthy, powerful, and otherwise famous people.
