Nice streak! But the most dangerous thing is in the end; climbing up a slope like that! Down winds can cause a sudden death! Belive me, it happened to a couple of colleges of mine in the force. R. I. P.

Flights of this nature can be summed up as in the event of an engine failure the outcome is to crash into the river at high speed, with the destruction of the aircraft and the loss of everyone on board as a given!

The Pilot is fully aware of this!

Such flying, in one's own aircraft, without passengers, would be the most 'responsible' way to carry this out, but even then, it's still potentially very dangerous!

The Pilot knows this too!

But it is extremely exhilarating to do - and survive!

Which is the reason to do it in the first place!

Whilst there are aircraft and Pilots, flights of this type will continue, human nature assures us of that, and yes, I would love to have been sitting next to the Pilot!

So are you the life flight pilot who keeps practically buzzing my house at midnight in violation of FAA rules for helicopters over residential areas? Lots of helicopter pilots seem like adrenaline junkies who love breaking the rules
