As an adult: You become like Robbie Rotten

Okay hear me out. Did anyone else think that Stephanie and Sporticus were dating as a little kid. I now realize that she’s a kid and he’s a fully grown adult but come on, it wasn’t just me. Right?

So sad to see the actor who played Robbie passed away, he was a gem of an actor

Actually this show has a backstory (i was surprised). From what it seens, Sportacus isnt just The Sportacus we know (the number 10), because there were other sportacus (9, 8, 7...). Robbie and Spartacus both grow up on Lazytown when it was Sportstown, and Robbie were the most popular kid because he had the most candy and told other kids that "Being lazy its more fun". Sportacus wanted to be friends, but since he is diabetic he couldnt eat candy so he was treated like a freak. Untill one day the number 9 come to town on his flying machine because he feel that someone in Sportstown needed help, but he was disapointed to see everyone was lazy, so he renamed this town to Lazytown.
But he see the young spartacus isolated and try to cheer him up. Young spartacus gets impressed by number 9 and imitates all he does, until one day he has to go, but he let a message with a box to young spartacus saying that, when he fell prepared, to open the box. Some years pass and Young Spartacus open the box to reveal his suit, the crystal with number 10 and a map. He follows the map and we assume that the map lead him to the zeppeling (flying machine).

Who else grew up with this show? So many great memories from childhood about this show. I'm literally planning to rewatch the whole thing tonight.

I like how when we first meet Sporticus he says he's not 9 he's #10 and Robbie goes "Another one?" an as a kid I always joked that Robbie either killed the previous heros or actually WAS the #9 but became lazy.

I'm 17 and lazy town was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. I grew up watching it.

Even though I always watch this when I was a kid, I always feel that there's something wrong or hidden from it.

on episode one, the backstory is that Stephanie has traveled from her parents by train and is only staying for the summer. Also the charactor stephanie is modeled to be an "out of shape dancer" before meeting sportacus. The massive illogicality of the shows' episodes is because its a kids show, for kids as early as toddlerhood.

I love when people try to explain the alternate side of a cartoon. This was not meant for adults who can twist it into their own ridiculous take it was meant for children. It’s not a nuclear fallout replay

If it wasn't for the Robbie Rotten meme I would've put this show off as a dream/nightmare I had in my childhood.
