We live in an age where it's super easy to get a ton of information on just about everything. But you know what? Sometimes it's best to keep it simple. For instance, let's talk about just three nutrients that are super important for our health, but that are a little harder to get enough of.

A Little Bit Better offers simple tips that can add up to affect your life in big ways.

Nationally recognized nutrition expert and author Keri Glassman is the founder and president of Keri Glassman, Nutritious Life, a nutrition practice based in New York City. For years Keri has been a leader in advancing a "whole person" approach to health and wellness.

It would be nice to have more vegan options in your videos. Not all of us eat eggs or milk. :)

Yes, I've recently learned about that fact and I try to spread the word! But the dairy market is so huge they can easily make people think milk is good for you. I recommend everyone to watch "Forks over knives". They cover the topic very thoroughly.

I'm sure she checks it and 1/3 bioavailability of calcium is quite a good data. Spinach for example is rich in calcium but provides poor absorption. Nondairy products often contain oxalic and phytic acids which block calcium absoprtion, so vegans 'could' risk getting even less - if they concentrated on certain greens. However, your demur was beneficial as broccoli is indeed a great source for calcium - but when it comes to calcium a glass of milk is easier and faster to consume for most people;)

the calcium in dairy is not absorbed easily at all. Dairy products actually lead to loss of bone mass.

actually; calcium in dairy foods is NOT easily absorbed - the calcium we get from milky products only gets stored in the body and it's VERY damaging to our system.

Fact check on the dairy and eggs- those nutrients are found so much more in different vegetables!

they keep teaching dairy products are healthy and they almost never say how much mucus forming it really is..actually cutting out on dairy would be a good choice.
