Ellul a raison. Tout ce qu'il a dit, c'est absolument vrai. La technique, ça nous change plutôt que d'être changée par nous. Ça nous fait adapter.

When Ellul writes about The Technological Society, he is not referring to all our computers, TVs, radios, machines, etc. Ellul is talking about a state of mind that only considers efficiency. The above book is one of Ellul's books on social criticism. His other books on that subject are Propaganda, and also The Political Illusion. Ellul also writes a lot about Christianity, but those are not social criticism books.
