I wanted to build a new and better LED Cube since a long time. Now I finally made the first step by creating the 4x4x4 RGB LED Cube itself and the case for the upcoming electronics. Feel free to recreate the cube for yourself.

I have to say this. I love the fact that you narrate your videos instead of just a goofy loop of non-stop techno, which after, hell, 2 minutes drives me NUTS. Also, it let's me hear what's on your mind, and any relevant information to the project. I'd love to start a movement of getting makers to understand the VALUE of having narration and discussing the project through the video. The difference cannot be emphasized enough. Thank you.

The 512 LED project is one of my favourite on Instructable. Thanks a lot!

Hej Scott, what is the name of the background music ?
You used it almost in every tutorial. It sounds really relaxing. GIMME information please :D

So I am in the progress of making this. Soldering together that cube is a pain in the ass.

Dont get silver coated bridge wire, get raw copper wire! The solder wont take onto the silvered wire. Or maybe I am just terrible at soldering. Probably that too.

Super Channel! Can you help me? I don`t understand what kind of wire you use, Aluminium? or other? Cause i see in russia many tutorials people used flexible wires or "etch the Board". But in your tutorials and in start-video where you make Board with words "GREAT SCOTT!" you use that kind of linear wire and your projects looks very nice and easy

Where do you got your TLC5940's from? I couldn't find any on Amazon or Ebay.
Woher hast du deine TLC5940's her? Habe keine auf Amazon oder Ebay gefunden.

You explained it realy well how to build it and im happy that i can follow your instructions, so i can build my own.
Du hast das wirklich gut erklährt wie man das baut und ich bin froh das ich deinen Anweisungen folgen konnte, sodass ich mein eigenes bauen kann.
;D

So First really good video.
But I have one question: is it possible to do an 8x8x8 in the same way? I mean the same construction and than use just another 'control system?

What's the reason for using current sinking registers, and common anode LEDs. Instead of current driving shift registers and common cathode leds

Wäre schön wenn du noch einmal alle teile, in der Videobeschreibung noch einmal aufzählen könntest :) so als kurzfassung für die nachbauer, ist leichter alles zu suchen/bestellen ^^
