Two Year Old Susie Makes Fast and Easy Edible Slime: Susie's Cooking Show
On today's episode, of Susie's Cooking Show, Susie wanted to change it up a little bit. We're still in the kitchen, but we're making something a little more FUN than food... which is still totally a food product, but it's meant for playing! Fast and Easy SLIME! And you can eat it, too! This slime recipe is great for toddlers and the younger kids who are just getting into tactile exploration.
We're making EDIBLE SLIME, from three simple ingredients:
1/4 Cup of Cornstarch
1 small packet of sugar free gelatin, or half a packet of regular gelatin
and 2-4 tablespoons of water.
Start by adding a little water until you get the desired constancy.
You can reconstitute this slime with more water when you want to play with it again, just keep it in the fridge!
Additionally, if Susie is near hot things we try as best as possible to keep her in her kids sized oven mitts. They are under $10 and you should consider getting some for your kids if they are working with you in the kitchen.
Susie's theme song was written and recorded by Susie's daddy,
The background music is written and recorded by Josh Strange and Tyler Pursel and is used with permission.
