had the APM's for 2 years now, let me tell you, YOU HAVE TO BUY A SILICONE headband to protect the head screen, once you clean it out (trust me its going to get dirty, ) it wont be as bouncy anymore. and its not something you can switch out and buy ta replacement from the shop. -wear them when at home and just take it out when you sport them outside

I have the original Lightning AirPods Max from when they first came out. I love the headphones but the headphones were scratched up (which really bothers me) and the case was not so fresh. So I was hoping to refresh these headphones and I got the starlight USBC Airpods Max as I needed a refresh to these great headphones. Do I wish they had put H2 chips in these - yes. But I am happy to get a fresh pair of headphones and I got these and they come next week. Having seen this video is valuable as I like how light and silver looking the metal is on these as I was worried they would too cream looking. So glad that I got the Starlight as I was also tired of the space grey color. But if my original headphones were not scratched up I probably would have not purchased the new Starlight ones.

Apple has too much on their plate iMac iPhone Apple TV, same as Sony does with their PlayStation, TVs and film production. That’s why Bose will always be king

Why even review these? It’s a waste of time, the only thing different is the color selection and the usb-c port. What a joke, Apple needs to be held to a higher standard by its customer base. Apple should have at least put the H2 and W1 chips in these and also get rid of the ‘purse case’, and redesign them so they hold up better. I for one am not paying anywhere near $800 for these or any other headphones, the technology doesn’t match the cost, and for that amount of money, they should be able to do more than just audio, maybe audio AI, if possible, or develop an option with components that turns these into a cheaper Vision Pro type device. The headphones that I will probably buy are the highly recommended, rated, regarded, and comparable Sony XM4 or XM5 which can be found for under $300/ on sale

but it's hilarious how they did basically nothing to improve except for type c port

And for all you broke people who will comment "you're just hating cause you can’t afford them"

I use the focal bathys ($799), bowers & Wilkins PX7s2e ($429), bang and olufsen HX ($599) and Sennheiser momentum 3 ($369) as my current wireless headphone rotation

And don't get me started on my headphones amps and studio headphones from focal

The AirPods max are a joke, just like the dyson ontrac

You either buy high fidelity or nothing at all
