in my game i'm trying to repair Nancy and Johnny's relationship, but the game decided to make Nancy hate comedy and mischief so their interactions tend to be negative... i kept it that way though 'cause it makes sense considering her other traits. i've also retooled the Landgraabs to be more like their sims 3 incarnations, making Geoffrey a doctor, Nancy a businesswoman and gave Malcolm back the good trait, so he has a great relationship with his brother. in my head (and with the help of mods), the "secret" held between Nancy and Geoffrey is that Johnny is indeed Nancy's son, but from an extramarital affair- Geoffrey is a kind man though and while he has his suspicions he's always treated Johnny well, but as soon as he was old enough Nancy kicked him out- partly because of her own shame, partly because his actions and aspirations weren't, in her opinion, worthy of a Landgraab. some real soap opera shit 😂

I have always believed Johnny Zest is a parody of the cartoon character "Johnny Test". They wear the same colors and the hair is identical

I think it said he dropped out of uni to be a comedian and not follow the family business. Nancy is secretly a criminal. The Landgraabs are known to be affiliated with U Foxbury. Due to these things, I think Johnny went to Foxbury to get a distinguished degree in villainy and realized he didn’t want to be evil and dropped out. This was bad for the landgraabs because not only did Johnny want to drop out of the family business, also embarrassed the Landgraabs in the eyes of the university.

Idk why I've never thought of this before, but what if Johnny was disowned not only bc he wanted to be a comedian (like it's stated in his bio), but Nancy had him out of wedlock, making him literally a bastard? (whether he's Geoffrey's or not, an illustrious family like the Landgraabs would take that seriously.)

He's a young adult, and Nancy is an adult; the only other time a family has that is Bella and Cassandra Goth (ya and teen) - and if you try to edit their family tree, you can't make Bella Cassandra's mother without cheats, bc they're too close in age.

This is the most eye-opening "Sim Story" that made me realize how much Maxis has fucked up by not making the family tree connection.

I love to pair Johnny Zest with my Sims! He's currently with Loki and they have 15 kids 🤣🤣 the kids have Marvel names, my favs are Nebula, Sylvie and Clint 😁

I hate that EA/Maxis was too lazy to put him on the Landgraab family tree. It’s even worse when autonomy is enabled and Johnny ends up in an incestuous relationship with Nancy. Ewww.
