Olive Specter: misunderstood or s*rial unaliver? Many think she's a twisted criminal but some think she's just caught up in an unlucky mess. Today we'll go through all of the details, lore, theories and bring her and her story into The Sims 4!

This is honestly the best video I have seen about Olive, it's super detailed, it's also super easy to follow along with aswell and puts alot of things more into perspective that nobody has delved into before!

Since we don't know why Nervous was taken from Olive, I always imagined that with so many people dropping like flies around her, the cops opened an investigation on her. Someone tipped off Social Services (maybe Lyla, trying to either protect a child or just being a busybody, which would tie in her feud with the Grunt family) about said investigation, so they took Nervous away despite any objections Olive could have made. That's a fairly plausible answer that doesn't involving her neglecting or harming Nervous.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm surprised you gave her gemology skills but no medium skills from the paranormal stuff pack? Considering her interests, it'd suit her so well!

I recently thought about Olive, and hear me out: we know Nervous was taken away due to neglect. So what if Olive tried to starve her own son to see her lover again? But since social worker exists she failed.

In her original sims 2 house, she literally has a torture room. Its a small square room with nothing in it but a light and that’s probably why most of the victims died from starvation. She abducted innocent people she hired for service and locked them in her torture chamber until they starved just so Grimm can visit her when they collect the souls! She was obsessed which is also probably why Nervous was taken away because her obsession was greater than her son basic needs. Not my theory, I just watch a lot of Plumbella and other sims lore videos 💚 love your editing btw!!

It's pretty obvious to me that Olive Specter was scripted to be a serial killer who enjoys killing and has an overwhelming obsession with death.
Whenever I play Olive Specter's lot I always transform her into a vampire as soon as possible and also an evil witch. Of course, I make Ophelia move out the moment she has her birthday and becomes an adult. She marries Johnny Smith and never looks back to Olive because she's GLAD to be out of that madhouse!
After that, Olive lives alone living the nocturnal life of a vampire...honing her witchcraft skills and pondering who her next victim will be.
I added a basement beneath Olive's house that can only be accessed by a secret door (to thwart vampire hunters). All of the walls in the basement are painted blood red. Down in the basement is where Olive keeps her coffin, her spellbook and her magical cauldron. In this secret subterranean lair Olive studies and perfects her witchcraft at night and sleeps in her coffin during the day.
Sometimes at night, I'll have her go hangout at the Crypt O' Night club or Gothier Green Lawns. She makes every effort to befriend every vampire and evil witch that she meets.

I love this, definitely the best video I've seen about Olive Spector. The editing was sooo great in this, you can tell you put a lot of effort into bringing us this one. I can't wait to see Nervous Subject's video!

Since the Sims 2, Olive Specter did caught my attention a lot. And when I was a kid, I was even surprised knowing the fact that Olive was flirting with the Grim Reaper. Plus, her house was very creepy to look at it especially the graves outside her home. Strangetown lore really wants me to dig deeper of its lore 🧐

What I gathered from that long list of dead sims, besides the obvious intriguing lore, was that the Sims 3 has a big problem with making sims who very obviously have darker skin tones white💀 Which is weird because the Sims 3 has more skin tone options than the Sims 2, so you think they'd be able to use more varied darker skin tones. Oh well, at least now I know to change them because I have their Sims 3 DLC!

One thing you might not know is that deceased Sims in Sims 3 worlds all have the same "colors" - Not that the ghosts have the same colors, they have different colors depending on their cause of death, but the Sims themselves are "colored" (their hair, skin, eyes, clothes, etc. are all the same color). That's clearly a design choice by The Sims Team but I don't understand it. That's why all the deceased Sims in Midnight Hollow are white, in Lunar Lakes are green, yellow in Lucky Palms, turquoise in Sunlit Tides, etc.

In the Sims 3, the reason her bio is like that, is because she comes with a Sims store world, where everyone has the same bio. Every other female sim in that world has the same bio as her.
Also, Knut is an actual name where I come from and I always pronounce it as it’s spelled, so every time I see someone on youtube pronounce it ”nott” I’m like ”Ah! That’s how it’s supposed to be pronounced in english?”

olive had nervous subject, and then because she was so obsessed with see grim again that she accidentally neglected him in the process causing him to get taken away and grim becoming ferious. grim now refuses to show up if olive is nears deceased sim until she finds a way to fix things with their son . Olive then starts using ‘unconventional’ methods to get grim to come ie the jewellery

I never play with townies but for some reason I really wanted to invade this household for fun but something told me to learn the lore behind Olive Specter & I’m not disappointed. Time for a makeover & some chaos 😂, thank you for the information. I didn’t remember any of this from the sims 2 lol
