IELTS Speaking Test band score 7 with feedback

In this video recorded by Ross IELTS Academy, we share an online IELTS Speaking Mock Test of a candidate with a band score of 7.0 from Brazil. We have inserted the examiner's feedback and the reason why she got that band score at the end of the video.

Cue card for part 2 of the Speaking Test:

Describe a time when you used the internet to solve a problem.
You should say:

• What problem it was
• When you did this
• How long it took you
And explain why you used the internet to solve this problem.

She spoke well . She did not struggle with the ideas much but a liittle improvement in fluency would be good for her . 7 is a good score

While she speaks slowly, she speaks correctly.

I don't think, it's band 7 test. She deserve much lower score as she has got.In real exam people get 7 with more fluency&accuracy

Thank you for sharing! I don´t think her English is so bad as some commented here. I personally struggle the most with these cue card topics, this one would have been a hard one for me. I wish her all the best for the official test, I understand how important this is to immigrate to Canada.

For those saying she doesn't deserve 7, you probably watched just the beginning of the video. But as the examiner said, the first question is a warm up.
I totally agree she maybe doesn't deserve 7 in the first question, but as the exame goes on, she gets calmer and demonstrates the 4 criteria that are evaluated

I dont wanna spread negativity but wanna mention that the examineer cricits her for not using linking words like although and those stuff on the other hand she herself was constintly using because in her speech repetitly tho.(sorry for my bad spelling)
