Back in 2001, I bought a 1990 Miata w the 5 speed .
( You do NOT want the automatic )
It was one of the best little cars I ever had . I bought it in Non-running condition ( no clutch ) for only $600 .
Sold the hardtop for $575.oo.
Turns out all it needed was a $40 clutch slave cylinder .

Upgraded to a 2003 S2000 .
Basicly a Miata on Steriods .

Definitely worth fixing. I rear ended an F-150 in mine and it way WAY worse….. but there are still plenty of them around so it was cheap and easy to fix ✨
