I'm riding across Australia with my mate on our Yamaha T7 World Raid ADV bikes, so we'll show you some of the modifications made to prepare these machines.
Joining me is Rodney Faggoter, ex Dakar racer and Aussie Desert racing legend who knows a lot about travelling long distances on a motorcycle, so he'll be a great companion for this epic crossing of Australia.
Also in this episode, I'm finally installing my Titanium Akrapovic Rally Exhaust system, as well as installing the Touratech PRO Shock absorber to Rodney's bike!

Can't wait. I'm slapping a tarp and some food on my T7 this afternoon to go across Canada. I just got word that my dad passed away yesterday, so I have 4 days to go 4500km to say goodbye to the old fella. All pavement, boring as hell but not the first time I've done it. Hotels and airplanes not an option this time so... soldier on. 👍

“I’m taking it easy because it’s not mine.” CLUNK, BANG, POW!!! 🤣😂 Gotta love it

I love to see someone equally capable at both riding and wrenching. It's a lost art in this day and age.

I'd love to see a ride with Adam, Rodney, Chris Birch and Lyndon Poskitt railing across Australia. Great riders, top shelf mechanics, humble but assertive outlook. And amazing ambassadors of the sport.

"She'll look pretty secondhand in about a months time" That's what I like to hear when it comes to adventure bikes.

I am not an adventure bike fella but I have an MT07 with a full titanium Akra system on mine, and anyone who hasn't heard the CP2 in person should know that you'll never get the full sound experience like you would in person

These engine bark so hard 👌

I just find it amazing how you can carelessly ride without crashbars and luggage racks to protect the exhaust, personally i just can’t afford to lay ‘er down but i’d love to have less weight on her. Must be the perks of years of experience in the saddle and sponsors. Hope one day i’ll be half as good as you are. I missed the whole summer because of a shattered collar bone, random guy didn’t give me right of way. I’m sad about my first bike, she’s a bit crooked now, but still going (cause of the crashbars and racks) But thanks to insurance i’m close to buying my dream bike. Can’t wait to rewatch all your T7 videos when that happens. Hands down the best adventure channel on YouTube and the reason why i picked up motorcycling in the first place!

Thanks, Adam! I’m happy that you’ve been sprinkling in some of your life’s philosophy about adventure and why we do these things. I love the outdoors and appreciate all of God’s gifts; the mountains, earth, animals…and riding motorcycles gives me the ability to enjoy more of those things than I ever could do on foot. Adventure, and sucking the marrow out of life is what it’s all about! ✌️🙏

Losing 12 kg on the World Raid is quite a bit, without sacrificing comfort. And pimping it up to withstand your speed. Looking forward to your ride. Your videos are outstanding, Günter/Nürnberg

I hope that my T7 appreciates the relaxed and easy life it has ! It is constantly fed on the best sustenance, the best lubricants, the best shoes, but I also wish I could work it like you do Adam. Great video, again, and looking forward to the trip video.

I envy you, colleague! Here in Hungary, we push it very poorly. I am an agricultural machine mechanic and agricultural horticultural engineer, I work on tractors and parks at the university here. I plow, sow, plant, remove bushes and trees. The salary here is so miserably small that my T7 engine, bought new in 2022, has only driven 2, 900 km so far. I just couldn't get enough gas in it. It got moldy. Yes. I was also able to buy the motorcycle because our mother died and left me a small sum for a motorcycle. Yes. Now I'm going to try the neighboring country, Austria, where I'm going to take on a job as a water-gas heating engineer. If I'm lucky, I'll buy a big piece of land myself, farm it and ride an off-road motorcycle. Our daughter is now 22 years old, she also started riding off-road motorcycles two years ago, but she outgrew her Chinese motorcycle and sold it, but she can't buy another one because she doesn't have a job. Well, congratulations on your channel. I hope that in a year we will already be living and working in Austria and will have a swimming pool and an off-road motorcycle. I think you're a lucky guy. Congratulations! Have a nice day!

Nice work! I just got back from a 6 day 3800 mile trip on my T7. New suspension and she handled it all like a champ.

Seems to me the T7, with you’re mods is with out doubt the best ADV. It’s obvious you like it and I think you’re the best to know. Yamaha should be employing you.

Adam was just up north now back down under.

First thing he does to relax after his adventurous northern journey?...

Ride and work on the T7.

You got me into this bike. I now own a 24 T7. Can't thank you enough for all the tips in the other videos. It has helped me grow confidence! Getting ready for my first long-distance moto trip at the end of August. So stoked! Its hot as hell here in Arizona and I don't care I still ride every day.. 600 miles in 6 days.. long commute LOL. Anyways you're a badass dude and I love your content!

Before you go too far into the bush pull the paper standard air filter and bin it, they dont stop really fine dust, teneres come with a foam filter that is much better. Had far too many bikes come into alice still with the paper filter in and always have dust past the filter, can recommend using pre filter aswell they make a mess but they help.
